Flowering seedlings?

ive got it set up like this with about 5 seedlings under her that should work right?

That's just peachy. The only way I can imagine improving it would be if, in the diagram on the left, the top of the bulb were facing the viewer so that light can exit toward the hood and toward the plants at the same time, while the parts receiving the least light would be the view of the diagram and the back wall of the enclosure (the left and right walls, if you're looking at it from the door).

I know what ya saying something like this, i tried this but the only way i could keep them horizontal was to drill holes and use tiewraps to hold the bulb ballasts to the roof of the hood but didnt like the idea of one of the tiewraps slipping onto the actual bulb whilst im out and catching fire or something like that

thanks alot for the help man, any future hoods i construct im gonna figure some cheap system to hang em horizontal, i would use tiewraps if they wer'nt made of plastic, thanks for pointing that shit out to me as i neva gave it a thought

The best way for you to attach those cfl's to your hood are to to drill holes around the edge of the hood to exact size of the lamp holders and tightly secure them in the hole. Then simple screw the bulbs in. I've seen it done and it works wonderfully.

yeah i had the same problem with my closet set up. if you can just keep the door open when the lights are on if not it was suggested to me to use the ghetto cooling method - freeze a bunch of water bottles and leave em in there with a fan blowing on them if possible. just a thought. this is my first go at this so get more advice from the more experienced people if ya can. just tryin to help

Yea i was thinking something like that but the sheet metal i made the hoods out of is about 4 mil and took me a good 5 mins to drill each hole for the wires to go through, and i dont have a drill piece that will cut large holes
