Flowering stretch?

Do auto's have as prolific flowering stretch as photos????
Anyway having asked that question. Ha I have 7 girls in an 8x4 tent. 1 is an auto that I wasn't expecting and I have trained the other 6 in a freestyle sort of way and it's just hit me. When they stretch the tent is going to be stuffed.

Mine always do. But with that my plants usually still don’t top out any higher than 48in but the always start to flower when their like 12-15 in tall. These just finished their stretch

Do you mean they do stretch a bit but sometimes more. Or do they just stretch like any plant would?

Like any plant would. You can keep your lights a little closer to them, this helps to keep your nodes a bit tighter, but they'll still stretch.

I'm limited to what I can do with it as she's in a tent with 6 photos that have just gone into 12/12 . I didn't know she was auto. Ha

I've got the tent in dual spectrum while they go into flower. I'm thinking seeing as I have the option that the dual spectrum would give them the best of both shades while they flower. Once they are flowers I'm going to have sodium for bud growth. I'm hoping this is going to be good

So, basically, you want to file this in the back of your mind for your next grow... You want to make every effort possible to keep your plants short.

DO this by, using a higher spectrum blue lighting at beginning of flower, less nitrogen a week before and during flower.

Those leaves look REALLY dark green, meaning lots of nitrogen, add a little bit of heat stress to it and voila~ streeeeeeetch.....

Another way to avoid stretch a bit more is to implement a 16 and 8 2 weeks before flower, which some folks say reduce stretch.

Starting flowering sooner when plants are smaller won't necessarily avoid stretch, but, the plants will finish smaller.

Pot size can also effect stretch, if they get rootbound in flowering If the pots too small the plants will tend to stretch.
