Flowering stretching

I am height limited so i dint want to flower and have them stretch to much. How much would a plant stretch after the switch.
If i had a 2 foot plant what would it reach as an estimate.
Does it double?

I've noticed plants tend to stretch at least 50% when flowering. I grow to 1 foot (12in) give or take and by time its fully flowering they reach a little over 2 feet or so. Aswell it depends on the strain like sativas tend to stretch a lot more then indcias, it also depends on conditions like like light , nutes etc.

Ok so ill wait till about 1.5 feet i thnk

Last season I had an Indica dominant plant, and from about 14" when it showed preflowers, it grew to almost 3 1/2'
Right next to her, I had a Sativa dominant plant, and same 14" showing preflowers, it grew to just a little over 4'.
I heard yesterday or the day before though, the longer you veg, it grows closer to it's mature height, so in other words, a plant vegged only a week may stretch to 2 1/2 to 3x it's veg height, but a plant vegged for 5-6 weeks, may only stretch to 2x it's veg height.
