Flowering times help

Hi,

I'm stuck on these veg time and flowering times

I was told that it takes 9 weeks roughly to complete from
Seed to smoke the weed

I'm doing cheese

I got cuttings at 2 weeks old

Put them in veg till they are about 2ft tall (18/6) - 4 weeks

Then it should only be about 3 or 4 weeks in flowering (12/12)

Is this right?

Now I see it's like 7 weeks on 12/12

I need some help thanks

Oh my cuttings were 2 weeks old and they are a good 30cm now in big pots only had them for 5 days

Flower takes about 6-10 weeks, depending on the strain. Don't go by what you heard.

it really all depends on the strain the plant will tell you when its done

If you can find the breeders grow info, that would be the best way to get an idea. Otherwise, invest in a microscope. Definitely worth the investment.

7-9 from 12/12 but chances are it wont be 7 weeks, and it very well may go over 9 weeks

Not to quote Barbosa, but those are more like guildlines anyways. Don't go by what you heard. Listen to your plant.

I always thought it was from seed to smoke 7 weeks too. Well, I'm still growing her *sigh*

Oright so much for my 5 grows a year plan then

So it's going take a good 14-16 weeks from start to finish then

If you get clones veg 2 weeks, then flower at 12/12 for 7-12 weeks, till plants done, then hang for up to a week, then cure, then smoke.if no clones start seeds veg 4 weeks, flower, you get the point. You want 5 grows a year, if you can get clones buy some a few weeks apart and start flowering different times harvest more than once.

A good baseline is from seed 10 -14 days under low level light 4 weeks veg under hid 8 weeks of flower. Thats 14 weeks. Ive never known a plant to finish in 7 weeks of flower not to say that it cant. I usually harvest at the 9th week regardless unless the trichs arent even close. I like my high more up so i tend to harvest a little early. Many can go the full 11 weeks but my shit gives me couchlock at that time. It would definately be smart to get a scope to see your trichs.

Learn what you're doing before setting any long-term goals. A lot can happen in a year. Most guys with 5+grows/yr overlap grows or continuous grows. You can also try to grow plants from clones, this will speed it up and multiple grow rooms, or even by trying a strain that flowers more rapidly 45-55days.
