flowering to early

hi just wondering if anybody could help me? after the success of my first ever grow producing 8 oz i decided to try again but with a different strain i now have early pearl n super skunk but after about a month of growing my babies have started flowering( they are both female) they have been under 18 hours of light but are still flowering should i up the hours to 24 and can it be reversed

are they flowering or just showing female preflowers??

vegging plants, if vegged long enough, will show their sex... females will show pistils.. males, sacs.. sometimes they will show a lot.. sometimes a little.. i had a female blueberry that showed so many pistils it looked like it would start flowering under 24/0.... but they wont..

more than likely this is what you are seeing and its not actually flowering...

Hmm. Never heard of a plant showing at one month veg... Possible, I guess? You sure your timer is set to 18/6? I'd check it. if it turns out that they are flowering, Id just go with it. you wont get very much, but you'll get some fine smoke. Some ppl run their plants 12/12 from the start.

You should post pics. That's the only way to tell if they're flowering, or just showing pre-flower.

Pre flowers my friend :hump: You should have a good strain on your hands and listen to her because she is telling you to induce flowering. It would be a wise choice to listen to her. She is ready to take you to the promised land :hump:

I normally get them pre flowering around the 30-35 day mark and it happens everytime with my serious seed strains.

I got one ak-47 plant that is 5 weeks old (been on 18-6 lights) and it is showing preflowers up the ass, so i wouldnt be too worried about it.

It's really REALLY rare for a plant to show its sex until about a week after switching the lights over to flowering.

I wouldnt say its really rare.... I get pre flowers about 1 month into veg with most of the plants I grow. I believe its the good genitics with my breeder as a post above reinforces the point.

Plants will reach a certain stage during veg that will tell you its time to start flowering. Some will show tons of signs and some not as much.

I always get pre flowers during veg

every time i have ever grown i have gotten preflowers on my plants.. maybe 1 or 2 out of 20 wont show.. but rare it is not.. in fact.. ill go as far as saying it is quite common... as long as you veg your girls out for 3 to 4 weeks, or longer, you should see them

yeah yeah time to get the nuggs going man gj def preflowers i get mine about 5 weeks out and about 20inches tall . keep them healthy and happy and gl
