Flowering top dressing

Hey guys just wondering what would be a good idea to put ontop of my soil as a top dressing for when my plant starts flowering. Just a few days ago it showed preflowers. I was planning on mixing a gallon of garden soil, tablesp. of alfalfa, kelp meal, and manure compost and add it as a top dressing pretty soon. Does this sound good? Also if i havnt added dolomite lime to the soil(i know i should have), is it a good idea to add it to the top dressing?

bat guano, bone meal, and powerflower soil are great top dressing for flowering.

It says for bone meal phosphorus does not pass through soil easily and should be mixed in prior to planting. Should i still use it as a top dressing? Bone meal is the only thing i can get where i live.

i think it means it needs less apllications

No bone meal takes long time to be availble to your roots
