Flowering Tricks

I was wondering if anyone has heard of any techniques to increase your production. I had one person claim pinching the bud when flowering would increase density, but I'm not sure if I believe this. If you know of any good tricks to increase quantity, please do tell.

pinching does nothing but damage the flowers... and cause bruises, .... its best not to touch them if you don't have to. TLC proper care environment everything she needs...

try having sex around your plants, it might make them more horny and produce more faster?

i'm trying a little experiment. i topped this one month into flowering and now its around week 6. topping is similar to pinching. it might be a good thing.......we'll see

Pinching has nothing to do with pinching the bud dude, you should just go do some reading. You pinch the stem so it flops over to get lights closer or you pinch a new leaf formation on the top off while growing to promote bushiness.

All pruning techniques are documented in detail all over the place. It's not a trick, it's not a question of will it work or does it work but I've spent too much time trying to explain it lately and even post after long post people are like HUH? Don't pinch a bud though, that is just mean and non productive...

Search, or read books, or watch video's...

I know a guy that claims rubbing the stem gently makes the plant think its under attack and ups its natural defense mechinism resin gland production....gently

interesting to know..research is needed but it definitely is a possibility cause the resin could be harmful to some animals but just get us high ha ha

no, it might even slow it down...

hey man, the pinching is kinda risky, it works but it may just damage ur plant if its done at the wrong time. same with topping it. they should both be done early on so the plant splits befor its too tall.

the sugar thing is probably the best bet for u at this stage, the plant takes the extra sugars and uses them to make the buds the way they would make it themselves... just faster. and if u wana make the stalk and the nodes stronger for supporting bigger buds you should get a small table fan or a small oscilating fan and just have it bowing on the plant enough for it to tremble, this will make the plant react the way it would to wind and bulk up the stalk so it doesnt fall over in wind.

if u are going to start another crop n e time deffenatly top ur plants. just wait till they have about 2 or 3 leaf layers and snip off the top. the nodes right under the popped top will split and grow into 2 seperate plants, its like 2 plants in one.

oh and one more thing. this is what i do n e way. when u are getting into the flowering schedual try to trim off a few of the big fan leaves, careful not to take off the new node coming from the base of the leaves, thats were the budds grow. this will concentrate the plant growth into the buds, growing bigger denser buds.
