Flowering week 2 - Leaves started to droop

I have an outdoor plant (Chem Dawg #4) which is in the second week of flowering and i just noticed that the fan leaves have started to droop (almost overnight).

I've uploaded a pic of the plant on Tuesday of this week and another pic taken today (3 days later).
*last watering + bloom nutes was Tuesday (about 2 gallons of water for the 7 gallon cloth pot)

I noticed the stems of the drooping leaves appear to be bending down, when just a few days ago the plant had a look of vigor.

Is this a sign of a root-bound plant? over watering? Nute lock? any help would be appreciated.

Real nice looking plant. I don't see much drooping. I wouldn't worry about it. Nute problems usually means off-colored leaves. That doesn't seem to be a problem either. Only problem I see is "Daddyitis", maybe looking for problems not there.

Just a note -- a general rule of thumb is that you should have one gallon of dirt for each month the plant is in that pot. With a 7 gallon pot you won't have to worry about root problems.

quick update..as i dig my fingers across the top of the soil i feel some root fibers (just below the surface of the soil). I'm guessing that this means the plant might be root bound?

any thoughts? Should i transplant it to a larger pot?

*did you happen to toggle between the two images i uploaded? The one shot on 8/9 is more perked up vs the pic from today (8/12). Also, as mentioned above, i did feel some root fibers just below the top (1/2") layer of soil (using a cloth pot). do the roots need more room to 'breathe'?
 
@Airwalker16 - thank you, but did you look at the comparison of pics from 3 days ago to today to notice the droop in the overall appearance of the plant..was happy reaching up to the sun, then today i noticed it looked very sad and limp-like

Plants do that. Have you ever watched a time lapse of a plant from seed to harvest? They droop, then explode upwards. Over, and over, and over, and over again. 7 gallons is plenty, but plant in a 15 if you wanna go bigger. Skip 10 or 12 gals

Thanks again for the info @Airwalker16 — i appreciate your advice and help..just wondering though, is it an issue that the roots are circling around the pot and just below the top layer of soil (how do i tell if root bounding is occurring)?
 
@Airwalker16 - could you please take a look at this closeup of one of the drooping leaves (notice the stem almost bending downward), does this help with the diagnosis?

In a mature plant you expect to see the roots pretty much filling the pot. Root rot is usually accompanied with roots that are turning either black or green. Roots just below the surface is normal.

Thanks @bigsteve for the info. My initial concern was that this may be root bound symptoms, or that the roots were being 'stifled'. Does the picture above of the stem bending downwards concern you? a few days ago the entire plant was 'up' and 'perky'.

Thanks again to everyone for the advice!

It was most likely 'mood swings' as @PURPLEB3RRYKUSH calls it...combined with a case of "Daddy-itis". How can you blame me though, these girls are pure beauties and it's easy to obsess (special for a first-time noob like me).

Below is a pic of the side by side (yesterday vs today), where you can see the fingers pointing up towards the sun once again.

big-ups once again to @bigsteve @Airwalker16 and @PURPLEB3RRYKUSH for easing my mind with their knowledge and wisdom!

Sexy plants =))
 
All kinds of factors can do this, but ya, it's normal. Your plants are either in flower or are about the be going into bloom so you'll get all kinds of hormones flowing through them and they can have mood swings like this. It can also be temperature, humidity, solar flares that day, or even ground temp. A day after a colder night, plants might not perk up so quick being still cooled in root zones by the ground they sit on which cooled the night before. Sweet plants man, beautiful. Have fun :)

This is honestly, probably the healthiest plant I've ever seen anyone worried about. Lol
