Flowering with a 600hps and uvb's

i just went into 12/12 on 3-3-09 and i got my 600watt hps about 12inches away from the tallest plant..my question is i hear u gotta put the light closer to ur plant during flowering is that true? and when do u do it right away or after a couple weeks when u see the buds? and how far from it? i also got uvb lights about 10inchs away from the plants

what you have going on is great i would stay with that.

ya, if the edges curl it's getting hot, back it off. You'll read 24", I use about 12-16" with a/c and the UVB should be hung so all plants can feel it.

really cuz i've noticed my tallest plant is kinda stretching out but i was kinda thinking it was just cuz it's sativa and cuz the dark period i just introduced them to

i got the uvb within a foot like it says to do and i made sure the uvb hit all the plants i turned off my hps and turned on the uvb just to make sure all the plants r gettin sum
