your absolutely right.... And his problem isn't major yet but if its starved of magnesium the problem with become major very quickly. You can always add some dolomite lime to get your ph to a good level and not have to worry about it anymore
Should I mix the dolomite lime with my watering solution ? or sprinkle it across the top ? And if so, how much should I use ?

And does dolomite lime help correct the cal/mag issues ? thanks for your responses so far max +rep

ALSO: Not sure if this has anything to do with my current issues but I have been watering about once a week for about a month or so now, and I should have watered her yesterday but the soil was still moist so I didn't....Was just curious why she wouldn't be taking up as much water all of a sudden.

If you added the dolo at the rate we talked about, you should still be good.

BUT!!!!!! I have noticed that the Mag in dolo doesn't release as fast as the Ca, so a shot of epsom salts might be in order. I've needed to add Mag even with a good bit of dolo added to the mix.

Do a 1tsp/gal of water and if that's what it is, you'll see the difference in a matter of days.

If they aren't drinking, you could do this foliar if you want. Might even be best, even though I'm not a fan of it.

How much Jack's are you giving them?

wet,
whatever you had said at the beginning for the added lime is what I had done....I have gradually increased the Jack's....I have been watering once a week, followed the next day by nutes.....I upped it last week to 3/4 tsp in a gallon....Fed her the whole gallon.

If I try epsom salt do I use just regular epsom salt like at the pharmacy or do I have to go to a gardening center ? And if I foiler feed , when is the best time ? when lights are about to go off ? And do I spray on top or bottom of the leaves ?
thanks,
SC

PS: I just did my daily check of her and once again the buds grew bigger and fatter...they look healthy as does the whole top of the plant. Just some of the bottom leaves are yellowing...In fact I picked off a fan leaf that was a dried up and dead but what I FOUND INTERESTING Was the stem to the leaves was still very healthy. Kinda of like that was the plant's straw for sucking the leaves dry...Could the plant be feeding more off it's fan leaves rather than the soil ? And if so, why ? thanks again.

getting epsom salts today, and also upping the jack's classic to 1 tsp / gallon...saw no nute burn from the 3/4 tsp. dosage
Bump up the Jack's and the epsom from the drugstore is fine. Exactly the same as the stuff sold at the garden centers, but cheaper.

Well I had some major life's problems pop up today, and chaos ensued...Anyways, I watered her even though it was still moist...didn't take long before I saw run off....I ended up mixing the Jacks, molasses, and epsom salt in a gallon to feed her tomorrow...Does anyone think think will be ok ? If I feed her tomorrow will she start sucking up the nutes and stuff ? Or did i screw up ? And should I have not watered b/c the medium was moist ? Should I foilage feed instead of watering her with the epsom salt ? Life's crazy right now, thanks for your responses.

Bump, anyone....

So I watered it yesterday to ensure that the roots were moist 100%...Leaves are definitely still getting yellower and yellower....Should I feed her the Jack's, molasses, and epsom salt mix now ? Or should I foilage feed the leaves with the epsom salt, and just feed her jack's and molasses ? thanks SC

Do the Jack's and the epsom and hold off on the molasses for a time or 2 and see what happens.

IDK, but I've been scaling back my molasses usage, both in amount and frequency, like 1tsp/gallon every 3rd watering (~every week and 1/2). Working very well and I think I may have been overdoing it.

Give it a shot and see how the plants react.
