First off, I would get it out of the window or w.e If your not growing it outside then sunlight should be its lightsource. You have no control over the light period as well as depending on the window etc. It can be blocking certain spectrums and UV rays that are good for the plant. At least get you some 6500k CFL's at least 27w true watts (not incandescent equal) they are cheap you can get like packs of 4 at lowes for like $8 or so. Get a cheap digital timer and make you a setup either in a closet or make a grow box etc. You can throw together a fairly nice homemade grow setup for one plant for very cheap if you have a little enginuity or search for examples on here. Keep it on a 18/6 light cycle for as long as you want to veg, then switch it to a 12/12 light cycle and switch your 6500k cfl's for 2700k's. I could go one but just do some research on here and you will be good.
