Flowering....

I have 8 plants I placed into flower, I don't know the sex as there were reg seeds.
I can see the slight color change already, been about 4 days. My question is....

I don't want to flower them now, so should I place them under 18/6 light, or let them show sex first, then place them back in veg. how much time will it take for them to go back into veg...

I don't want hermies....... thanks for any help.

You can flower to determine sex, then put them back into veg for a while, yes. It shouldn't stress them to the point of going hermie on you, but it is possible. Once they show sex, dump the males and re-veg the females. They can take anywhere from two weeks to a month to re-veg and start actually growing again. To me, it's a waste of valuable time though. Just let them veg till they're about the height or maturity you want, flower, then ditch the males and keep flowering the females. If you didn't purposely flower to see sex, why did you change light cycles to begin with? I can understand doing it for that reason, but from your post it sounds like you simply changed your mind and in that case yes, too much tinkering may stress them to the point of going herm on you.

LOL ok this is what happen, one of my timers went out on my veg table, so as I closed up my flower room for the night at 9:00pm I would just pull the lights in my veg room, then plug them back in at 9:00am when I went back in LOL!

However In the veg room some of my light are still on a timer, 18/6, so I did not realize what I was doing till I seen the great stretch I was getting along with some light green color.....I guess just a rookie mistake he he he.

Nice catch Ledhed!
