I've had plants finish unevenly, harvested the finished buds and put the rest back in for a week.

generally the flowering time on the package isn't right. those time frames are only good if you have everything perfect (lights, humidity, c02, air circulation, ph, soil, nutes, water, everything). You usually need to go a couple weeks past the time the seed packages give you. If you let your plant go for to long you'll start getting nanners and seeds.

those flowering times are just approximations, the trics will tell you when ur ready for harvest.

nanners is slang for the male flower dude. if you have males your females will seed and be half as potent.

but letting them flower past the time when the trichs are ripe causes the overall potency to decline. Correct?

Check the Harvesting and Curing link i gave you in your other thread. It shows plants that are not ready and plants that are ready to be harvested. ITs not rocket science really to see. 80% of people pull their plants too early! Now i only use a x100 once they look like the pics in the link i gave you.

NANAs can be caused by allowing a plant to go too long, but they are usually pre diposed in their genetics. I have had a couple of plants that threw out a few nanas during the stretching phase and then nothing afterwards.

High stresses can also cause a plant to throw out some nana's

However you usually find that nana's can happen more when using Femenized seeds opposed to Regular seeds.
