flowering

i am 3 weeks into flowering and i was wondering if i should trim some of the bigger leaves on one of my plants but i was told to not trim the anything during flowering so idk juss an idea and dnt know if i should so any help would be great thanks

there's no reason to trim off anything that isn't either a: dead or diseased or b: getting absolutely no light. however in the second case, the plant will just consume the nutrients in the shaded leaves, so you might as well leave it on

yea some of them block out spots where the plant is producing bud so i was nervous they wouldnt grow properly

think of a fan leaf like a solar panel dude

another thing to take into account is that leaves look alot more solid than they really are to us. only about 15% of the energy that hits a leaf is used and the other 85% keeps going. so it looks like that big fan leaf is blocking light but its not. since the larger the leaf the more effecient it is it puts those fan leaves where they are for a reason. they are the plants most effecient energy producers so the plant wants to put them where they get as much light as possible.

idk if youre right at the beginning of the flowering stage and you cut the big leaves that are off to themselves it stops putting energy into growing them and focuses more on the leaves around the flowers and the flowers themselves

Absolute gobbledegook, learn basic biology mate. The fan leaf is imperative up untill maybe 3/4/ days till harvest

so i should leave the fan leaves or cut some down from what i been reading from you guys im gonna leave them...theyre startin to smell up my closet so i guess they r growin well haha so if anyone objects please feel free any advice is amazing
