Just a quick question. I have 8 plants that I have been growing for about 6-7 weeks and just turned the lights to 12/12. How long will it take before I can tell which ones are male and female? I can't stress this enough because I don't want to get fucked over by the males. Someone help me out here.

Dont stress it, if you are checking daily you will see it when they sex. Give it a few days after switch. No one will be able to tell you when since it can show before switch or weeks after depending on the strain and phenotype. If you are concerned get a close up of the nodes and post it and people here will be happy to stare at your plants sexy parts and let you know if they can tell :)

BTW, its not like overnight balls spring out and start spraying pollen all over.

Fully agree.


However after 6-7weeks of vegging you should be able to see the pistils from the females already.

Thank you! I know they won't pollen over night, its just my first time growing and I want good buds without seeds. And you think you can help me out on how to post a pic on here? Lol

Are you on the mobile site or the web page? If on the web page, the button 3 over to the right of the smiley face will let you either browse your computer for an image or put a URL in if you have it hosted on a web server (like photobucket or your own)
