Problem is everyone has a different opinion on when flowering starts. There needs to be a term for each. Like "flipped flowering vs true flowering" or something.
That's one thing I really like about growing. Everyone has their methods that they swear by. Those are all opinions based on some sort of preference or loose science. Flowering is just a start time. I can tell which metric they're using just by looking at the plants, but it's still confusing.Problem is everyone has a different opinion on when flowering starts.
Like those that flush and those that dont. Those that wet trim and those that dry trim. Two polar opposites that will forever battle each other.
Good vs. evil. Lol.
Growing is fluid and there are many different ways to accomplish things.

i find my plants start building 'crowns' i call them around 3-5 days after flipping. just flipped on fri night and already notice them changingThat's one thing I really like about growing. I've always used the flip, but when they start to flower makes more sense because the plants are still basically in veg up until that point. Plus it's more reflective to how much light and feed you're giving them. But still, the flip is a hard date. One month out is one month out. "True flowering" is more based off of the plant's speed than actual time.
It's a little fuzzy to my right now, but I think I start noticing actual buds around 2 weeks in. Maybe a week? I don't think I get too giddy until the second week, but I could be wrong. I did notice my last two cycles were flowering about a week faster and I'm not sure why.i find my plants start building 'crowns' i call them around 3-5 days after flipping. just flipped on fri night and already notice them changing
hairs should start pushing out in next couple days
i like to spray with kelp day of flip and i find that really gets them flipping fast
