The daffodils i planted in the woods are barely blooming while the ones I have in the front yard with a good amount of sun are blooming profusely.I think I'm going to do ten of these next year. The Hyacinths smell nice. I don't know why the daffodils haven't/didn't bloom. They should be flowering right now.

Mine never did bloom.
A friend gave me a Voodoo Lily. They smell like a dead animal when they bloom to attract the flies that pollinate them.

Mmm yummy. My favorite weird flower is cleome. Smells very similar to weed. My local hydro shop planted them in the front of their store lolMine never did bloom.

I really regret not planting more crops that can overwinter. They really give you a head start at harvesting. So far I've eaten beets, kale, collards and mustard greens from the garden. I harvested some more mustard greens today. Still have some more and some Swiss Chard growing. The greens are starting to go to seed but at least they gave me something to eat from the garden this early in my region.

That is awesome, my old art teacher brought hers into class for us to paint one day back in high school. lol all the teachers around her class that day were pissed.My Dracunculus vulgaris is in full bloom with all of it's stinky glory.
The flies seem to like it.
It really stinks so I had to move it off the patio.
It smells like a rotting dead animal. I had to move it the the back of the yard because it stinks so bad.

I move my bird feeders (black sunflower seed mostly) around my backyard. That way I can get volunteer sunflowers, just got my first of the year open up yesterday next to a batch of chickory.
And this butterfly was loving the pokeweed plants I let grow in my back yard.
The robins love the berries they make and will float around them when they ripen up.
