So you know, you weren't wrong to talk up Flience if they impressed you. After all you need to get others opinions. Thing is, here, on RIU, if you're not buying a Cree Cxb off a DIY guy here who manufactured their own or can't DIY then you're so far off from doing the right thing. I disagree. Do to the thousands lost in valuable flower time = $. Not hating c, I wish I had the time but to me flowering big rooms ASAP is more important than the down time of learning ect... So, good for some but not all. That leaves guys like me to depend on good commercial panels. And IMHO who cares how much they cost to an extent seeing how each bigger light pays for itself x2 + over. Example: 1, 660watt- quality light like the SpyderXPlus with an optimal grow will yield a good grower 2 lbs. = $5000, the light only cost $1500. To me, I'm not that frugal to make my own, over getting good commercial plug n play. To me I'm far exceeding the money a DIY is saving when I can just get to growing. That is unless you already know how. Those guys I envy as I'd like nothing more but to build my own. Just not while I'm trying to maxamize LBS. now. If Want a new room now, better off buying good commercial then starting the learning process now. IMO. To each his own.
