i use a 20 watt for my clones and 4 of them for my veg. they are at the bottom of the lumen output of any lights

No, not unless you have a lot of them, each one is gonna give you about 1400 lumen's, and you're going to need at least 5,000 lumen's, but should aim closer to 10,000. per plant.

No, its for veg. There about a week old a little stretch. Two 24" cool white, and I ordered a warm white to put in the fixture. It is over an aero system with 6 planters and has an cardboard shade(foil tape on the light side) with wholes cut in it to hold 6 cfls over each net pot. Each cfl is about 2" to 4" above.

get rid of the foil it will cause hot spots and burn the plant. it`ll work but slow

Im trying to figure out how people growing with cfls or just plain fluorecents get there plants to have 4 or 5 sets of leaves when the plant is about 2" tall and the lights are about 6" away. Mine always stretch

yea definitely strains have a lot to do with the number of fan leaves on a plant as it is growing
