Fluorescent Lighting Adequacy Question

I am just starting my first grow and was wondering if 2 T8 48 inch 32watt 6500k Fluorescent tubes would provide enough light for 4-5 plants?

no not even enough for one

100w per plant at least.

is my main problem the watts? should i supplement the fixture with some cfls or just get different tubes

u need more wattage. Get light bulbs they usually come in higher wattage (example 25w to 200w)

i use to have the same light as you to start my seeds from day 0 to 2. by 3 i switch to (12) 60w 6500k's for 6 seedlings
