I don't have any rope or chains to support it from the ceiling.

Can I use bubblewrap packaging to support the lights on two boxes? Placing the bubble wrap (stuff that goes POP when you step on it) underneeth 5-10% of the lightbulb ends, are the bulbs warm enough not to melt plastic o.O? I have no idea!

Remember, I have no ceiling and my seed/cloning boxes are 5 inches high with the dome on. I do have the floor, bubble wrap and boxes O_O!

well although you can touch them they still will be able to melt plastic if given enough time. i suggest something metal

The ends of the bulb were getting kinda hot so I moved em like this. Fuck neighbor came over so I had to clean it up...ahh experiment is delayed, anyone with fluros know?

hahaha

Haha I got a bucket of water above em j/k j/k. I got a general electronics degree!

Here, how's this for ghetto rigged. Think flat white poster board with card board support...6 inches away from the warm ends.

I am experienced with fluros first hand they are not made to support the weight of the outlets that supply them try a scrap piece of particle board from you local hardware store (10$ max) and suspending them from the dowel in your closet so that when your plants grow it will be able to raise the lights and then you can keep them in the dark when you need to begin flowering

i've used cinder blocks to support flos' and they worked nicely. i'd stay away from the set up you have. nothing worse then a fire and the fire dept. finding your little secret. only makes for drama you don't need.

never use plastic or wood too dangerous, go to home depot and get u some shelving "L" brackets and mount them to the studs in the wall and then hang ur light from rope or chain from the brackets

heres my little sealth creation from an old subwoofer box .

4 - 20w 24" floro strip cool white
1 - 32w cfl warm spectrum
