no problem, there's nothing wrong with MG just feed lightly(if you get it)
im told schultz is better then MG but dont know from personal experience.

I have been reading post about PPM (parts per million) i dont really understand is this important ?

Can i flower and veg under that ?

dont buy it unless its hps/mh or you'll need a seperate one for flowering
(an MH will make really loose fluffy buds, probably worse then florecents)
If you get an hps it can work for veg/flowering,but using mh in veg and hps for flower will do best.
thats why you want a switchable ballast(usually just have to change the bulb, and whoalla done)
you can find one for like 120-140 buck off the internet easy(ebay,kajiji)
to be most efficient have a veg room (25% of your space)and a flower room(remaining 75%)
with florecents for mothers and clones and hps in the flower. if you do 2 seperate rooms sog it!(see of green)to get even more for your space.
you could do 4 its not asmuch howmany pplants as it is howmuch space.
a 400 will be great 4x4.if you keep 4 smaller plants directly under it and 4 half as old on the outside you can harvest twice as often.(less hand cramps from trimming for toolong at once)

im somewhat lost on ppm's aswell,many people grow in soil and never even hear the words parts per million and others stick to it.
if your water is a reasonable ph, and you feed properly you shouldnt have problems but things occurr and knowing about ppm's is
like having a headsup.it can save you before you would notice anyting wrong otherwise.id say buy a meter and makesure your using it properly,or find a good soil mix for an add water only grow!(something im looking into and many have great success)ill post a link to my soilmix results in a bit. its kind a little expensive but still less than if you bought veg/bloom nutes plus additives and a ph/ppm meter.
read read read, the more you prepare the better the outcome!haha but humans need to sleep so go to bed eventually!and eat, that ones importent too!

If you want to grow organic & just add water you can make this mix.(theres 2 diff. ones on there)
Id try using bat guanno tea and molasses in flower with them(i think it would do wonders)

I will se for the fertilizer's when ig et to the store,same for Soil.

Is there a difference between liquid and the dirt fertilizer ?

i need a cheap but good odor control is this good

sounds solid.make sur you mix perlite &/or vermiculite for drainage..dont over water,you know the deal.

ive never thought of using those things(odor killer@ Canadian tire.)im going to try one out forsure! id say give it a shot its oinly $6..
build a diy carbon filter!! ill find a good one for example.->found a good one!! its really easy,everything you need is at homedepot/canadiantire/lowes.....for 15-30bucks...I need to make one within the next couple weeks.mine will be right ontop of my growspot with an extra fan inbetween my closet and outside(i have to run it 25ft.) right before outside im putting a urinal cube so it will smell like a clean washroom.
im looking into buying ONA gel I hear it works great but is probably pricey as fuck.

So i got everything up and running just waiting for the seeds to arrive

i bought schultz soil with permilite and humus , and says enough food for 9 months for good growth , but i still got the Miracle-gro fertilizer.

Just cant wait so receive the seeds . Do you know any website that sell's seeds that accept'c check (except a-b-seeds.com)

i dont have any journals. i can try and get some pics tonight but my camera is really bitchy latley.
as for seeds my current plants are bagseed from some nice weed i bought.I was recently sent MiniThunderFuck seeds by a rollitup member, within 2 weeks ill have abunch of them. If you could get some food-less soil to mix 80/20(80% nuteless with 20% with nutes.) for your seedlings it be best(so you dont burn them)
There's alot of places to buy seeds,but im not sure about cheque's. many places want you to send cash in an envolope(seems skecthy but the right place's wont ripu off)
i can try to get some MTF's to you in a couple weeks.PM me to work that out.

have you looked into auto-flowering strains??seed to harvest in 2 months!no switching lightes t 12/12 to flower, they do very good under 18/6 or 20/4 all the way through....most auto strains are a very easy grow.

ya i looked around for some auto-flowering strain , but there out of budget , there about 80$ for 10 . i kinda prefer getting the nothern lights for 30$

but i found a new site : speedyseedz.com the prices are okay and they take eChecks

Just wanted to mention to you, since it wasn't brought up: whatever light you grow with, watts are not what matters in relation to growing. Lumens are what matters. You want a minimum of 3000 lumens per square foot to grow, 5000 lumens per square foot recommended.

i have a total of about 8400LUMENS for 4 plants

you cant find the lumens without knowing the watts

The type of lighting is more important. For example:

150w CFL = 7900 lumens

150w HPS = 16000 lumens

The watts are exactly the same. They don't count. You can have 1000w of lighting, and if it isn't in the correct spectrum or if it doesn't put out enough lumens, it doesn't matter.
