flushing and when ?

hi all
i have 2 questions here both are not urgent right now as im only in week 4 of flowering so here goes.....

1 when the bud hairs have gone from white to a dark brown and are ready for harvesting hopefully after week 6 of flowering do i need to flush the plants with fresh water or another chemical type of flushing agent and if so for how long ????

2 for my next grow i intend to have a go at s.o.g will it help mt if i put a light mover in my grow room i have read that it can help get a better yeild as the light does not create hotspots and is more evenly applied to the canopy ???


any advice welcome on these 2 questions

1. You use strictly plain water to flush

2. Never used one but heard nothing but good things about them

Plain water should be fine. I flush about every three weeks too, it seems to have helped my plants quite a bit. Light movers are great, what size room and what kind of light are you going with?

I sometimes flush during flowering with mollasses. and at the end just water.......

my flowering rroom is about 2.1 metres blong by 1.5 metres wide the light mover i am looking at getting is on a rail of 1.8 metres and i have two 600watt hps to go on there
so to be clear i flush at the very end of flowering that i get but for how long 1 day 1 week ?? can you please clarify on this point ??
also what is mamollasses ? im in u.k can i get it here ???

mollasses you buy it for baking at the grocery store by the pancake syrup..........
