Flushing before harvest issue

My plant is currently about 8 weeks into flower and I decided to flush a few days ago before I chop her down in a week or two. All of the leaves were still nice and green looking before the flush. After the day I flushed her, the very next day many of the fan leaves started getting lighter and now a few days later they are looking rather yellow. All except for around the bud sites where they are still nice and green. Is this normal?

yup your going to see a lot of stuff like that. you flushed all the nutrients out of it and its sucking whats left out of the leafs before it dies.

flushing is one of those subjects that will get you different answers, just like leaf trimming. some swear by it, others will swear at you for doing it, lol. what you're experiencing is called, "yellowing off." take away the nutes, and this will happen. it's one of those things that is better tried by you, and either accepted or rejected. me, i flush. i grow in coco, and only flush for a week or so.

Too much nitrogen in late flower makes for dark green, harsh nug. Too much calcium has a similar effect on harshness.

Phosphorus is critical and shouldn't be withheld.

U flush for 1 week?

I flush for 10 to 15 minz 1 week before harvest with plain water then I flush through with about 1/4 normal nut solutio

And continue to feed at 1/4 till I chop..

There absolutely no need to starve ur plants in last week of flower it's actual dumb cause u can gain alota yield in the last week of flower
And starving it will reduce this

The idea of a flush IMO is to get rid of excess salt build up not starve ur plants

ahh, yes. so you're one of the ones that try and convince folks to do things your way, and if they don't they're dumb, lol. to tell you the truth, i don't give a fug what your grow methods are. i don't care what you do, or what you think about growing, or how i do things, got that? save your advice for those who ask for it. if i wanna starve my plants, or pour jiz on them, that's my business. now, if you see me asking for advice, by all means feel free to chime in. i have no problems with quality or yield, and am completely happy with my results.
peace bro
