I told you niggas...I never flush and I got the "Dank Dank"View attachment 3338527
i knew it! you're just parroting info. you read from someone who threw up a couple pics and said, "i grow the bestest dank," and you now idolize. i saw a list of names of people here who don't flush. i'm betting that if these same names said that they did flush, you'd jump on that bandwagon too, lol. better hope they don't convince you that sucking cock is good for you, cause next thing you know, you'll be burping up baby batter, and calling it a delicacy, lol!!! why don't you try actually coming up with some original ideas that you know something about???if u noob like me
keep us posted. this how i believe you make your decision on anything. try it for yourself, then make your choice.Im pretty new to growing but the last time I grew I did not flush and continued feeding regularly all the way through till harvest. Because of this (Im thinking), all of the leaves from the plants stayed very green and never turned yellow. The trichs were all whitish and a bit amber so I'm pretty confident they were done. Anyway, for whatever reason the final product had this grassy like smell and I'm thinking the reason may have been because the plants were still loaded with chlorophyll in the end. This time around I decided to flush for the first time which I started about a week ago and most of the leaves are now turning very yellow. Im wondering if the green leaves from the first plants might be the reason for the grassy chlorophyll like smell? I am growing the same strain as last time and if the final product turns out smelling dank I will always flush from now on for this reason. Just a thought
Ya Ive heard this also but i'm having a hard time believing it because many growers trim wet. Every article and book I have read about harvesting advises to trim wet as well. Are you talking about just the fan leaves or all leaves including water and sugar?^^ if you trim the fan leaves before they dry I've heard a grassy taste is a result.
Wtf u on about I do flush u knob r u retardedi knew it! you're just parroting info. you read from someone who threw up a couple pics and said, "i grow the bestest dank," and you now idolize. i saw a list of names of people here who don't flush. i'm betting that if these same names said that they did flush, you'd jump on that bandwagon too, lol. better hope they don't convince you that sucking cock is good for you, cause next thing you know, you'll be burping up baby batter, and calling it a delicacy, lol!!! why don't you try actually coming up with some original ideas that you know something about???
Yea a lot trim wet I think it's easier to trim/lose less trichomes. But there's plenty to go around lol and I want them all. I'm going to trim dry I've had a lot of friends grow and the trim/dry/cure is where it seems everyone messes up on. It's all about how slowly yu dry them without molding. But having those leaves on when drying they form kind of a cacoon around the bud. The moisture slowly moves from the center "sweating" through the outer layers of bud and leaves. Moving chlorophyll with it. That slow one week or more dry and 3 week or more cure and no grass smell or taste. That is a good way to find out and exactly what I am going to do. thanksOnly way to find out try it yourself. I would try maybe doijg different methods to different parts of the plant and see. Try leaving on all fan leaves on some but trimming the sugar leaves wet. Then in some leave it all on and dry. On some wet trim sugar leaves and fan leaves and see what stalks taste and smell best. I know the wet trimmed bud will want to dry out faster than the dry trim
It is easier and im a noob at growig but have watched numerous grows. And smoke the product. The wet trimmed bud almost always tastes more grassy and not as fruity. Try a dry trim.when i harvest, i trim right away. i don't know if leaving the leaves on makes any difference, but it seems easier to trim that way.
my neighbor is about ready to harvest. i'll grab a couple from him and do a side by side...It is easier and im a noob at growig but have watched numerous grows. And smoke the product. The wet trimmed bud almost always tastes more grassy and not as fruity. Try a dry trim.
You'll collect a good amount more trichomes too.
