I have 4 girls in flowering stage right now. day 18. bud sites are prominent and growing well. 2 - 1.5gals / 2 - 3 gal FFOF soil grow.
I previously had a calcium issue while in veg. got some bad copper rusting spots that started at 1 plant and made it to all 4. This was week 3 of veg. Did a flush on all 4 and showed no signs of stress from it and it did help clear it out. As after the flush i had aquired Botanicare calmag, pro grow, and pro bloom. Vegged for 1 more week then plant started showing sex by itself. That was the last time i flushed.
Currently 18days into flowering. Using Botanicare Pro Bloom @ 20ml and 5ml of CalMag. Feed every watering. (bottle says to feed every watering, so I tried to see how plants react and they arent showing any nute burn and are loving the food every time) PPMS around 1000 after phd to 6.5. my 2 - 1.5gals are showing cal spotting again and I for sure need to flush them this afternoon. The 2 - 3gals arent really show any signs or need of a flush but i want to give them both 1 last one as well. I think the1.5s are getting salt build up from too much feeding so Im gonna flush.
When flushing in flowering so i just use phd water, or like 1/4 strength mix ? I have about 30-40% perlite so i have great drainage. 96oz in gets about 32oz run off. So I only flush about a gallon or so throught the 3gals and get alot of run off.
