i just ran into this problem... when i go to flush my plant the water doesnnt sink it kinda floats in a big mud pit lol it takes a few minutes to seep... my guess is.. that im not allowing the soil to dry out enough before i flush? i flushed last monday and the pot is still heavy as shit.. i wanna flush it thoroughly once more before my harvest in 12 days , dam its takin forever 2 dry

If the soil is packed tightly, the water will take a while to seep in. Maybe you should, water more slowly. ALso, you should only be watering if, when you stick your finger down in the soil, its bone dry.

there are holes at the bottom of your buckets right?? just making sure? soil prob just really thick..

if your near harvest a good way to do it is let her dry out completely bone dry it gives the plant a chance to eat all the lingering nutes and crap i let mine go 3-4 days no water ..then water her really good soak her...and let her get bone dry again..and cut her..

I found using molasses turns the soil hard and compact. I use a little long pronged fork to loosen the soil up sometimes after watering and it keeps the soil from compacting too much and I think it allows more air to get in the soil.

you need to water very slow. spray till you get a good shine on the soil then stop let it go away. keep doing this and the soil will take more water each time you do it. at the end you can pour water slow and get a good flush. add a fan near the pot more air movement will help dry the soil, but you also need good venting and fair heat.
