Flushing With Segmented Cuts.

Good day folks!

I'm getting ready to flush next week and harvest, but I want to chop down the top part first, then wait for the bottom part to ripe and then chop the 2nd half down. What I'm curious about is, do I feed it nutes after the 1st half chop, then flush after, and then harvest from there?

Thanks,
Danksy

If you want to do it that way don't worry about flushing.
There are different opinions on flushing anyway, some people think it improves taste, smell etc. some don't.
Just keep feeding nutes 'till the end to avoid problems, much easier for newbie growers.

I mostly agree with the above post however feel there are stipulations to this. As someone who is picky about taste I will say that if you're growing with alot of miracle grow or something along the lines of it I would do a flush before the 1st chop and another before the 2nd. If you're going organic then I would not worry about it.

I've heard this argument before and it has been proven wrong.
Organic nutes have similar minerals and salts which affect taste and smell just like non-organic nutes do.
Many people think organic nutes eliminate the flushing "problem" but I'm sorry to say it doesn't.
I know a lot of people like to flush but I've never really been able to tell a difference in the finished product which made me want to flush but I'm sure that if you nute the crap out of your plants you might be able to tell a difference.
