Flushing?

it is only necesary to flush if your using chemical nutes..the reason is to remove chemical and salt buildup in the plant and in chemical it also helps to begin getting rid of chlorophyll, this is possible because the nutes just sit in the soil and are immediately soluble by the plant..if you grow with organic nutes it is physically imposible to flush the soil because the soil itself feeds the plant through microbial interaction and water will not stop this..their is also no negative taste or properties when using organic nutes so no reason to flush even if you could.

Awesome! Thanks, I'm organic! As a follow up, I'm probably inside of two weeks from my first harvest, should I be holding back on nutes?

if you have seen signs they are heavy feeders (no tip burn, never had a slight N def, fast growth) be careful you dont want to stop feeding and realize they needed one more but if your sure they are two weeks out tops and they seem like light feeders you will be fine if you stop..if you dont stop you will also be fine since no flush is needed, but i like to time it right and stop feeding them around a week and a half left to ripen them up

when you do flush though it is not uncommon for the leaves to turn yellow and droop, this is because the plant is taking all of its stored up nuts because you are not feeding them any. its not bad because you will be chopping them down before they die any way.
