Flushing ...

I think it's a reasonable request.
You've read all the data so surely you've formed an opinion.
I think it's the same as using a EC meter & ppm meter & pH meter. Getting a result in which correlates to a targeted range. How about a direct answer. ? :hump:

Nothing really.....
Flushing is for the last days of a hydroponic run and thats just to flush salts buildup from the medium. Not even really relevant in a soil grow in my opinion. If you want your weed to taste good, burn good, and smell good then concentrate on perfecting your curing process. Just my .02
Thanks

One more thing. Ever since I quit flushing my plants have finished earlier and the flowers were thicker, more potent, looked way better to the end, and generally of better quality.
Thats not the flush, thats you getting better at growing :-)

What most people call "flushing" is what I call "leaching" because they just run a lot of water through their medium. Real flushing is done with an agent like Clearex that helps dissolve residual salts.
But that's just my opinion.
Do I flush?
Nope, mainly because I try not to overfeed and taper off three weeks before the chop. Plain water the last week; leeching isn't needed.

Plain water the last week is flushing.

And in all those "331 threads" you saw tons of opinions on it. Flushing is for toilets, a proper dry and cure is what makes or breaks a harvest... Flushing is a sure fire way to get a reduced yield and thats about it....
Overdosing on phosphorous is a recipe for bitter buds.
Same for tomatoes.
Jack em up on P and they'll taste like shit -- guaranteed.

"Can't get off 'til you cough"?
I call bullshit.
Good pot shouldn't be harsh.
