because they are in my way when training....no other reason....Why do you remove the fan leaves? Wouldn't it be better to leave them as energy factories the new growth can draw from?
Thank you for your appreciationTruly a amazing work awe-inspiring
Thank you very much for your appreciation....i love and perfected this technique because i am restricted in height so i had to open them up somehow....and with mainline i believe you have less controle over your plant then with this tech and the ease of only topping 1 time early has the advantage of only recovering once from a major and invasive stress then the need to do 3 toppingsessions and giving her additional stress that potentialy stalls growth or slows it down....so you basicly gain 2-3weeks of training and as we well know a lot can happen in 2-3 weeks...is it not....I fucking love this idea, mainlining has interested me more than any other training technique, but this is like another level and seem like it will produce a much more even canopy and keep height down without the need to scrog. Definitely need to try this later down the road,
PS: Loving your bonsai thread. I was looking into trying bonsai shortly after starting my grow and came across your thread
Remove the fans and just keep on the top 3 pairs of nodes on every branch to not overcrowed her and to improve lightpenetration and airflowSilky! Just curious.. how much do you defoliate while still shaping them? I might be going too far.. but if i don't remove almost all the big fan leaves i can't even see to train and tie them down.. things are just insanely bushy.. BTW.. i assume this slows your growth bad also? im like 3 months into one and it's still tiny.. but very trained.
