hello all this is my first hydro grow iam into 5 weeks of the flowering stage plants looking awesome just one quick question while the plants are in flowering now can the light be left on for more hours currently 12 so say if i up the lighting to 18 hours while they are already in flowering would this help the buds grow larger thank you.:weed:

I wouldn't do this. By switching the lights back to 18 hours your plants will shift their energy away from flowering (fattening up your buds) to vegging (growing taller, wider and making more leaves) In addition this unnatural life cycle could also stress your plants making them more likely to hermie. My plants have actually had they're best boost after switching from 12 hours of light to 11 hours of light aroung week 5. This simultates what happens in mother nature, and your plants are mother nature. Hope this helps, and good luck with the grow

waz666 got your back, spot on. And yeh, if anything reduce the number of hours through flowering. MJ only needs a max of 7 hours fo sunlight to grow....

is that what the cool kids do boob have you experiance here bob have you tried longer or shorter light periods while you have be growing when the plants are in flowering hey bob thats what im looking for bob people who have tried it whats google never heard of it lol so if you havent tried any of these while growing keep googleing with the cool kids bob hahaha
