People say they are on their way, hours later still not around wtf

woke up this morn at 3 a.m. after dreaming some guy was hitting me in the back with a 2X4. Turns out I had the worst backache and then got a sort of stomach bug, so threw up (beef and kool aid) and had horrible shits. food poisoning? stomach virus? by 7 a.m. it subsided and now I'm fine. But have had a horrible headache all day. 2 percocet won't even touch it. spent day grouting shower floor. FML

@Diabolical666 what is your houseguest doing that's so bad? leaving floaters in the bowl?

Hes a drama queen and needs constant validation. I cant put him on a project without getting bugged about something every few min. Then he asks me if im mad every hour.

....just finished my first grow room enough kick on the 2 T5's last night...woohoo
....fry up some fresh bluegill and have a nice lunch...yummmm
....bring the dishes to the sink to hear water spaying all over the place inside the sink cuppboard...

FML!

so ran into basement to cut water supply off and in the center section I'm trudging an inch of water! at least most of is stayed in that section, and away from the new room...the ONLY plus hear. Gonna be 10:00 to midnight 'fore I'll be done taking care of this disaster.....must've just had the tunes up loud enough not to hear that racket while eating....line musta busted the second I was out of earshot...FML...

Yeah I hate working on electric shit at work. I had to buy a volt meter to change out a tankless water heater to a tanked one and the fucking thing didn't come with any instructions. Said it was to save paper, so I had to look that shit up and my phones connection at work took forever.

But it had two double sided pieces of cardboard that could have easily had all the instructions on it, but it was full of useless BS and trademark info etc.

luckily my house has a main shutoff. no need to guess if i turned off the right breaker. still gonna buy a voltmeter anyway, they're not too expensive. just wiring up a chandelier and some sockets.

My problem was that the tankless water heater used 4 wires and a ground and the tanked just used 2 and a ground. I had to find out what was what so I wouldn't fry the thing.
