Fogging the roots!?

Can we talk about using fog to moisturize the roots?

I think it would be a good idea, anyone tried this before?

I am going to buy this soon for tests:

So with that ultrasonic transducer, you would be able to almost instantly create the fog, this method is one of the best for fogging plants, as any Minerals or Bactria will stay in the fog. The down side is the fact everything must be kept ridiculously clean. I am up for it though and I have a few plans for re condensing the moisture quickly, which will save water and the added nutrients, as well as help contain added Bactria used for growing.

I know there is someone out there that has tried this...
