Well a couple things:
1. What strain are you growing?
2. How strong is that light?
3. What nutes are you using and in what quantities

Your clones look really really fucked up, and I'll tell you why: You have no where near enough humidity to sustain clones. You need to have the clones in a very humid environment, you want to spray them often, and have a SEALED box, the huge opening on the bottom of your cloning cube is letting all the moisture right out of the box, you're killing those clones. I'm honestly amazed you managed to get 2 plants going from those sick little guys.

your plant on the far right really needs to have those lower leaves trimmed off, they're limp and almost dead looking. You might also want to move the pot further from the wall as you have some leaves brushing right up against the wall where they won't be getting any light at all, part of your plant is just going to be wasted space this way.

With your plants growing so bushy you should make sure you keep those lower leaves a few inches from your pots and try and train your plants with some posts and string so you can get light to those lower extremities. I'd hugely recommend doing a SCRoG with those plants, theres just way too much unutilized surface area there just begging for light. If you train up through a screen you'd increase your yield a shit ton.

As for your question about air: You want to have your air intake at the bottom of your room on the opposite end of your exhaust. You also want your exhaust to be moving more air than your intake, this creates negative pressure in the room, which will help pull air in to the room passively.

Also, redo some of that wiring dude. You've got cables for your fan and stuff right on the ground below your resevoir and you're just asking for trouble with water+electricity.

Not a bad set up, just some minor tweeks and you'll be growing the good green in no time OP. Good luck and be safe brother!

The strain is sensi-star. Nutes are aqua flakes (850ppm), hydrozyme & silica. I have ventilation both sucking air off the light (at the top), and an intake pulling air into the room (at the bottom). My air question was I plan to put an A/C unit in for summer. I would like to put it in the second level and blow cool air in at the top. didn't know if that would be better that at a lower level.

I didn't start those plants from clones you see in the bucket. Those were kind of an experiment. They burned to death when I had all 4 flouros going. I use a humidity dome for the bucket, but as I don't care what happens to those clones, I have just left them to see if they'll survive the extreme enviroment. I need to seal up the cloner area for sure. I regret not doing it right the first time.

I've been meaning to trim some leaves, but really don't know how to go about it. From what I've read, people seem to be on both sides of the fence when it comes to trimming. I figured since I didn't know shit about it, I'd start on that side.

I really wanna do a scrog my next grow. I didn't this time because I wouldn't be able to access the root chamber. This being a new system, I want to monitor things like misters, root growth, drainage.

I don't worry about the wiring because my system doesn't leak. It's not a rubbermaid tub, it's some thick ass fiberglass. Not a single drop leaks from my plumbing, and I build it in a way I don't have to disturb the plumbing, so hopefully it never will.

The guy I got the clones from said that they were bushy because they were cut from a plant in full flower. Said it took a month to fully revert them back to veg. I dunno if there's any science behind that, but something is definitely goins on!

Thanks!

Well for your AC question, I don't really have an answer. I've never used an AC, I've always just increased the amount of exhaust I have. Pulls all the hot air out, and air that is close to the ground (where my intakes are) is naturally colder as it is. I would think that AC pumping in frigid air would just cause undue stress to the plants, but again, I've never done it.

If you're afraid to trim the bottom leaves, thats fine. Just make sure you keep a look out on that plant for bugs. Spray down the bottoms of your leaves really thoroughly. With bushier plants like that you've got a big risk of molds/bug infestations starting in the middle of your plant where there isn't a lot of airflow and by the time you see any damage on your outer leaves it's usually too late.

Other than that it seems like you're doing everything pretty damn well OP. Keep up the solid work, hope to be seeing some fatty buds from you in a few weeks ;P

I use a 5,000 btu window airconditioner for a 4x4 grow room.....It works great its has its own thermistat and sleep mode....I just set the airconditioner to pop on when the temps get above 77 and it kicks on and cools my room down........I have the airconditioner set low in the room i suppose you could do it up high but my passive intake is downlow so to me it just makes sense to have my ac down low too...... It has never stressed or shocked my plants before......

Mike he's being rude about it, but he's right about the wiring on the floor, that's a no no, as for humidity, humidity is for establishing clones, since they don't have roots to feed from. You could add a nebulizer, or a fogger, with a small oscillating fan to fix that. A lot of people don't prune at all, they see it as diverting energy from fruit, however there are numerous reasons that people trim, but all of them ultimately come down to a decision between time and yield. You'll get more yield from topping, supercropping, fiming, etc, but then the plant takes time to recover. Time is money, yield is money, which one do you want to sacrifice on, and ultimately will it gain you anything. This is unanswered and since I don't need to train/prune, I don't.

Solid advice IMO. As good as my plumbing and wiring skills are I never trust myself with a watering can... If your gonna leave the wiring there I would run that circuit on a GFCI outlet at least. JMO otherwise you seem to be on the right track. Good luck and happy growing!
