I was told that shrooms give off a gas(carbon dioxide) after breathing in Oxygen(like humans) I was told that it will kill me if I keep growing shrooms in my bedroom. Of course I didn't belive it. I see so many people growing mushrooms in their god damn living room!! Why would breathing in the same air as a human kill you? So... In reality, this theory is BS?

This isn't OTD, so don't treat it as such.

No, you can't die from growing mushrooms in any quantity that will fit in your bedroom.* Since every square inch of soil on Earth is inhabited by fungi we know of as 'molds' a moldy cake in your terrarium isn't going to kill you either.

Thank you RogerRabbit

no mushroom co2 is not dangerous.
no more then having a person sleeping in you bedroom.

Its not the c02 that pose danger to your health with mushrooms its the spores themselves. It is very important that you pick before the shroom drops its spores. I am not sure on how much you are growing but even a small amount can give you a nasty sinus infection, if your grow is large enough it can give you pneumonia. Sterility and cleanliness is EXTREAMELY important, IE if your lazy cant clean your house good every weekend including ceiling fans then dont attempt this hobby.
