So guess what? I picked up two puppies that were thrown from a moving truck by an asshole in Southern Illinois. One looks like a boxer mix, the other a jack russell terrier I believe. Both look pretty young. Both had broken ribs, some new, and some that had been broken before and had healed...(past abuse?) The terrier mix is afraid of men, particularly those wearing hats. Oh my god! How could anyone do such a thing? We had two shelties that were recovered from abusive homes. One was afraid of adults and the other, children. It took months of hard work to get them to trust us. Turned out to be the best dogs we ever shared our lives with. I have so much respect for you. :)

I know. When I pulled it back and saw how deep it was I just started crying. People can be so cruel. And he's so little, under six months for sure, completely helpless. My kids have loved the hell out of them, and he seems to have taken the most to my oldest daughter, who has autism. So it's pretty awesome.
