HI,
I first grew my first decent plant the summer of 1974 in the chimney stump of an old barn out back.
My mother asked me what it was, and after she came down out of the tree, she was curios and even showed interest in it's calming properties, ect. Though she is gone now (cancer), and never got around to trying it out, I admire her for raising a child who always lived on the edge somewhat successfully.
This brings me to rediscovering a love. Many years have passed, and those days of creeping around the back woods are gone, but a strange series of things have led me back to growing and lifted my spirits emmensly.
I got laid off from my job of 20+ yrs
Diagnosed with Renal Carcinoma (fancy word for kidney cancer)
Had surgery to remove a good chunk of a kidney
Met a friend with some great weed that really helped me cope, and worked wonders to help me maintain my body-weight by increasing appetite (VERY important with any cancers).
This person also grows his own stash, and after I checked out the little system he had , it sparked something inside me I haven't felt since that day years ago.
Maybe it's not a cure, but growing and smoking my own has made me feel so much better, and given me light where there was none.
Thanks for listening, and I wish you all the best in everything. I plan on many contiuous havests
