Go with a tank, regulator, and the pricey ppm sensor for really accurate and less tank refills. Or another good idea is used one of them Autopilot second/minute little timers to plug the regulator into. Then get the Autopilot Desktop co2 monitor for a 100 bucks or so and dial it in from there. You want the timer to kick on whenever the desktop monitor reads below your target number in ppm. Kind of a pain but its cheap. Its what I use for my veg room. Iam not spending for 2 ppm sensors. They are alot of coin. The timer method is not as accurate and efficient as a real deal 500 dollar ppm monitor but close enough for a guy wanting to get into gas.
