Forcing to Flower question

Hey folks. So I suspect I might have an auto that is not transitioning into flower. Going on week 6 now and have had preflowers for about the past 2 weeks. I'm going to throw it in my flower tent now under 12/12 to see if I can force it to flower.
My question is, once it does begin to flower, do I need to keep it on 12/12 until it is done because the autoflower gene didn't activate, or else it will reveg....?? or will I be able to move it back into my 24/7 tent in a week or so?
I worry because my current photo grow is almost done and I want to start vegging my next photo run in that space soon...
It is a Mephisto freebie cross strain.

What strain is it? My Hubbabubbasmelloscope didn't start to flower till over 40 days. Some of their bigger plants do veg 45 days or so.

I had a blue toof special that took forever to flower and I almost threw it out...
 
Honestly i would wonder as well, but aside from serious space issues i think Mephisto genetics are worth letting it veg as long as it takes XD

Yeah, i would just relax for a bit longer if you got the room. Some can't even score Mephisto genetics, so if you get an extra big pheno I'd call it good kind of luck and enjoy it. Even better that it's a limited freebie.
 
She’s sexing out ( sexually mature ) , have patience.
Plant will hit the gas shortly . Just let her do her thing and resist light play with the schedule.
