yeah sure dumbass. So tell me, why does the earth have polar ice caps? Don't cheat and google it. Say it in your own words.
Your attitude makes me less than cooperative... I could tell you what my lips say but Rolli would just delete it...

Maybe he was a paid climate-denier Shill.

I regularly consider that some of the members here must be paid for posting misinformation, because the crap they spew is too opposite of anything intelligent.

Are we talking about Oswizzle? Because he would be on my short list of propagandists (although, admittedly, a very amateurish one)

Actually, the people of the world pose the biggest threat, should we ever get mad as hell and come together and kick them all out

There's plenty of blame to go around, and around, and around

Uber liberal California is attempting to make adult vaccines mandatory

For the climate changers, it was brought to you by the same government scientists who made cannabis a Schedule 1 drug

HELLO

What's funny is watching a bunch of stoners arguing about climate change , a topic huge brain scientists can't agree on , but both sides of the coin here are 100% sure their view is correct .

I counter the title of this thread with this facet of life , when any man becomes convinced of an ideology , or political party , vs facts they can prove , that person has became mentally handicapped .

Too many politicos have dominated RIU , in my opinion .

actually they do agree. it is real and it is manmade.

but i bet you have a nice little conspiracy about it.
I know about as much about climate change as you do about being a moral human being , which is nada , only I don't represent myself as having definitive knowledge of something when I don't , you'll learn that for yourself eventually , or you will follow .

so you know nothing about climate change, but you are sure that the scientists don't agree on it, and you liked a post stating that is was a conspiracy by government scientists.

that's some world class spinning there. you must be drunk again already.

Climate change isn't complicated; when hydrocarbons are oxidized, aka burned, they make carbon dioxide. It's what all that carbon turns into when the fire or motor converts the hydrogen to heat in the presence of oxygen, making water. Therefore hydrogen makes none, natural gas aka methane makes a little and coal makes a shit ton of CO2 per BTu of heat gained.

So SEVEN BILLION people, ALL burning everything from cow shit to jet fuel, are going to increase atmospheric CO2 levels and since that's a greenhouse gas, it's going to warm the planet.

The only ones throwing sand on this idea are fossil fuel suppliers and those who service them... so, you know, follow da money.

Like I said, it's not complicated.

But why should I pretend I understand science shit when I don't , just to fit in ?

97% of scientists.
Yes I agree their is a problem but let's look at the liberal stance, carbon tax which gets passed onto the consumer.

Conservative no tax to be passed onto the consumer.

Now If the Liberals had a solution I'm down but they just have a tax. Bravo big government!!

At least do yourself a service by having an open mind and verifying the facts for yourself;

The hydrocarbons into carbon dioxide thing is as simple as Google.

Seven billion human inhabitants, another number easily verified, basically all of whom burn SOMETHING, from sticks to diesel, well you've been around, that's pretty straightforward, no?

All that's gotta go somewhere and it does; right into the air. Again, ask around if this seems hard to believe. Or, check your co2 burner, lol

Now we get to the money part. THIS ain't rocket science, so I'd be shocked if you tell me you're going to have trouble believing me when I tell you that those making the most from the current arrangement are also the most likely to be shoveling money into a disinformation campaign to fool the public, give politicians cover for friendly deals and laws and otherwise spin and cast doubt wherever they can. You know, like Big Tobacco did until they got prosecuted for lying to the public.

Find a hole in my logic. Chemical, social, economic, it's fucking airtight.

And if you're still clinging to a shred of doubt, do tell, where's your evidence? You've asked us to prove our assertions, now it's your turn.

Or meet the guy running the hoist, Mr Petard.

Oh, but we DO have a solution; charging the fossil fuel industry for their damage to our environment just levels the playing field, making it clear just how competitive renewable energy sources really are.

But keep on believing the spin machine, as if the money made at your expense doesn't matter.

Yeah, keep telling yourself that when gasoline hits $6 a gallon.
