I'd like to apply for a forum mod job, particularly in the GMG forum. I am so sick of going to check the forum out and seeing it inundated with spam. Right now for example I count at least 4 spam threads, all of which have certainly been reported several times.

Seriously, if I qualify PM me or e-mail me.

sorry we havent responded quick enouhg for you, we are volunteers we are not online all the time i mean you posted at 1am on a saturday....

What in the heck does the time I posted have to do with anything? Don't just assume that I was being pretentious or critical or something.

I was merely... volunteering. Because, guess who is online virtually all of the time? Especially at 1am on a Saturday?

What I was trying to say is that even if we add 100 more mods, somewhere sometime someone will not be online and spam will be bothering a user of the site in an unactive area, or active area of the forum.

But for real someday I'd love to be able to give back to this site for what it has given me.

Sure, maybe. But that wasn't what you said and I am not here to argue that. It had absolutely nothing to do with anybody "responding quick enough for me". It had to do with me thinking hey I would help do something about it if I could.

Not to mention that even if 20 moderators are on at once, if only 1 is the mod of let say for example 'GMG'....they and only they (1 mod) can remove posts from their assigned forum, there are many of us here, we work as a team and REALLY do the best we can, I promise, I for one do not enjoy waking up in the morning and logging onto my fav. forum only to be inundated with mostly ludicrous emails that I then have to spend the next hour answering PMs, questions, and investigating to find good answers to give to the forum members before i can lurk around and enjoy the threads i would like to read/participate in


we do our absolute best, but can only do so much witht the powers granted to us, which isnt much :lol:.

agreed, i get about 50 pms a day with peoples issues and problems ontop of my email, and ontop of reporting spam, i dont just sit on here for fun hahaha

Sometimes I feel like a mod answering everyone's questions lol. But not to your guys' extent.

I have special powers that I can use. Do you guys want me to use my special powers haha. Sorry I'm stoned guys.
