Open up that flower and look for green or brown caterpillars or little black spots of poo. If you find any, spray with Safer Caterpillar Killer.
Thanks for the fast response. I have just gone out and looked inside the flowers and I don't see any caterpillars or little black spots. I did find a caterpillar on that plant 2 days ago and killed it very fast. I didn't get a chance to check them at all yesterday so the spot could have been there yesterday and didn't see it. Would that have caused the brown spot?

Thanks again.

Yes, they chew inside and depending on the amount of damage they do, you'll see outer parts die off. Even with just a week or so to go, I'd spray because they are big eaters and you don't know how many more there may be. Aside from the chewing, their waste can cause mold. Get 'em quick.

Like I said I found one the other day. It was about a half of an inch long I saw it and killed it. Yesterday was the first day I haven't checked my girls and this is the first and only spot I have seen. I did look through the flowers on the plant and have not found any more or seen any poo. Do you think I need to be worried?

check for caterpillars and other bugs living in and on the buds

yes I mean in the buds sometimes you squeeze one and some caterpillars head pops out of it, lol
OK will do thanks for the fast responses. I will grab some of the killer tomorrow and check the flowers tomorrow morning again.

Hey all I went out and got some of the caterpillar killer. I sprayed the girls. I will be harvesting in about 7 days is thereally anything I should do to make sure the insecticide isn't on the flowers when I harvest? I'm not really one for vaping insecticides.

Thanks again.

did you use the kind stuff that only lasts 2 days ?

some people gently place the buds into water for 1m to a day to wash away bugs and dirt and such depends what you used

permethrin based stuff is normally fine 2 days after use , anything more hardcore than that I don`t normally use if I have unless I have over 3/6 weeks till chop min
