Got some of DNA/RP genetics old stock and testers from a rep last summer... Was hesitant on popping a couple of the strains due to count and wanting to run OGR stuff, and man am I upset I waited...
just trimmed up the ECSD and the Sleestack I received in those packs... and they might be the most flavorful buds I have ever had the pleasure of touching... And that's why you always keep clones (learned the hard way on a hashy mom last summer), two keeper strains no doubt
My scissors are clogging up after each gram trimmed of sleestack so I'm gonna call it a night on the trimming (After only 10 g's lol).. Gonna give a quick run down of the funks I'm smelling though.
the ECSD has the legendary funk of the sour diesel... the lemon and fuel is all that needs to be said... The plant seems to be single cola dominant and stretched 2-3X it's size once thrown into flower. Foxtailing occurs near harvest-time... More seeds of this and even possibly a more bulky pheno with the same fuel taste to be had? Might be worth a look.
The sleestack is renown overseas, and I'm starting to find out why. They said it won a hash making award, and I can attest it is literally as close to untrimmable as it can get.. With every scissor stroke comes a sour apple funk that I have never experienced in a plant before. I'm trimming it dry... but it still needs another day for a sampler nug... too excited to explain.
