i found a marijuana plant in my cousins backyard. it has alot of purple and reddish stems. i had to take it out of the DIRT it was growing in and i transplanted it into a two gallon pot. i switched it from natural sumlight to a grow cabinet. it does excellent at night cycle, but in the light cycle it droops verry bad, please help me, this will be the second one to die on me!

Then just let it grow outside... ffs, it's not hard to keep a marijuana plant alive: it's a weed. Why are you obsessed with it being indoors?

Well it was growing outside at your cousins, why not just leave it there?
Also, use organic soil instead of Miracle Grow. The pH isn't right and you're burning the shit out of your plants with all those nutrients.

When you say "lights" do you mean compact flourescents or HID's? I know they are probably CFLs but Walmart also sells HPS security lamps so you never know.

If they are CFLs then they should only be a few inches away from the plant.

the cheapest way to go would usually be the wrong one. check local grow shops in your area for used gear, you might be able to snag a 400w hps with a nice reflector for less than $150, like i did.

cheaper than that, and less of a power draw would be florescent lighting....but if youre going to do something, do it right, no?
