four ladies to look at

Hi,

this is my first grow. Sadly I was a bit short thats why I had to buy a smaller tent.
They are now 13 days into flowering and are 85cm high. They had 35cm at end of veg and stretch is already slowing down.
4x jack herer in soil and under 400W hps
They lose quiet a few really green fan leaves in the lower parts, maybe because of a lack of light?

what do you think?

I'd say yes due to less light below those leaves tend to die off. Nice view of the tops quite the canopy. Keep on growing.

should I invest in a bigger tent soon or do you think this could work out?

I think you should be fine dude! I'd trim up the very bottom of the plants to about a quarter way up to get some air moving in your canopy and to get some light penatration. Also your indoors and working with a lack of space so some of your larger fan leaves could go as well to let light penatrate more. Not saying go chop crazy but a good trim up. If you dont wanna go that route you could also bend the larger leaves to the side and arrange them so that the lower branches are getting light as well. Nice set up.

thanks aseboy,
I ll trim them later today. They are in the third flowering week now and still growing incredibly fast... something like 4cm a day.
I hope that they slow down soon because else I ll have a problem with the height. Would be complicated to bend those down ;)

Will post some pictures later.

bye

The secret to growing good weed.....

...Keep growing it :)

Looks like you're doing just fine compadre. Like matey said, give em a lil trim and maybe a few pinches here and there on the stem and you're good to go :) Just make sure you always have as large a pot as poss and as much air flow as poss and be as close to nominal temps as poss and you're good :) Good luck!

i would have to agree clean up the lower half will help with air circulation and light penetration...

Hello,

thanks for the tips, I did some sort of a mix... Trimmed some smaller branches and bend some huge fan leaves down. I was a little afraid about stressing them to much.
They are now 16days into flowering and here are some pics. Take a look at the stem pic...

I have a constant 24° and 50-55% humidity (rainy in my region at the moment)

have a nice day.

Hi,

I think these are nearly done. Wanted to post a few pics and ask for suggestions about when to cut them?

thanks
