Four trees. 600 or 1000 hps in seven gal pots?

I am running my medical perpetual grow with four trees in veg and four trees in flower. I have a tri-band ufo I am trying for veg and a 400 watt lumatek for flower. I vegged with the 400 this time and wow they are huge. I have just taken clones and am using the ufo.

I am using seven gallon grow bags. I want trees. I am just getting started. My last grow, my first, I grew one ounce wonders in an ebb and flow.

So I will need a bigger flower light. I think at least. Would a 600 be ok, or should I shoot for a 1000 watter and quit dicking around. Temps are a prob, but I can afford air. Still I want them down. Also if a 600 is adequate I would not mind. I am legal so my power does not trip me out. I want those damn 7 ounce plants. Like subcool. Lol, so if you guys got expereince growing trees with 400, 600, 1000 let me know.

How long are you veging for? I know a guy who can grow about 500 grams on one plant using a 400watt light but he veges for almost 6 months.If you want a higher yield I think you need to veg longer.I grow in an ebb and flow and only veged for a month and a half and got the one oncers and had i veged longer i am sure i could have produced more.As a matter of fact Thats my expirement this time around.Im veging for 3 months then flower.

Building a room with 1kwatt with four plants in 10gal pots,
month veg in 3gal pots under a 400watt then 1.5 month veg under the 1k in the 10gal

I have 2 month veg in 7 gallons ultimately and then a flower.

Thats what i intended to do but a 1mnth veg with the 400watt then a 1.5mnth with a 1k will get a sativa stain pretty big.

lol, I calculated with 50 watt a square foot that the 600 would prob be the logical choice. However what is really weighing on my hand is the news that a 400 hits like a foot deep and a 600 hits like 18 inchs. 18 inchs is not bad for my plants three days into flower. But maybe it will have to be a 1000 watter. Well the good part is the 1000 watters is always cheaper. Except when it comes to the good digis
