I've heard ffof(soil) is hot. Nutes are as hot as you mix them. Around 1/4 to 1/2. May need to use mag supplement. What soil you using?

I'm using ffof with perlite & lime added, I'm also growing autos. Using around 100 ppm of cal-mag and around 300-500 ppm of nutes. Used Grow Big, Tiger Bloom. Same ppms whole grow, changed nutes per life cycle of plant (veg, stretch, bloom). Working for me. My temps are low 70s to 60 at night. @Useless89 what's your setup?

I use big bloom in small amounts really early on in autos life.. like 12 days old.. once I hit day 21, I use grow big and big bloom in small amounts.. I do this until flowering stretch stops... then use tiger bloom and big bloom in small amounts.. big bloom is good for both veg/bloom.. it supplies the "goodies" for grow big and tiger bloom.

here is my current grow.. Auto Seeds Trans Siberian on Day 79

Only thing I have give her is water and tiger bloom.

I wouldn't be able to help with autoflower setups necessarily. But what i will say to you and anyone who has never used FF nutes to always use 1/4 to 1/2 like 'upnsmoke' said. Never use full strength, you'll nute burn them.
I used only Maxicrop seaweed extract through veg and added FF tiger bloom 1/2 strength 2nd week of flower. MJ plants love both. But that's just me. I do everything right the first time and never had trial/error/ nutrient issues.

Big bloom is the only one I'd use at full strength from the go ....the others I'd start light and work your way up to what the plants are comfortable with .....especially the GB ...

I use FF nutrients and you are 100% correct. I accidently used 3/4 strength and still experienced some nutrient burn. Definitely start slow 1/4-1/2 recommended dosage and ease it up as needed. If you start with full recommended dosages you will more than likely end up with nutrient burn at a minimum.

I figure ill wait until they are ten days in from popping out before administering big bloom. Figure id wait maybe 2-3 weeks before using anything else correct? I was under the assumption of the 1/4 doesing but wasnt sure if that was common practice. I appreciate all the help. I thoroughly enjoy being able to get in here and get advice from experienced growers.

Im running a 24x24x55" tent im just using some organic soil with perlite and vermiculite already in it. I purchased it from a local farmers market. Im using 5 gal grow bags, a 300 watt led with an added 75 watts of cfl (i simply added the cfl to make myself feel better i dont really think it was super necessary) i got the fox farm trio for nuets, the strains im currently running are "cash crop" and "afghan kush ryder" the are in their first week of life. I germinated straight into pots so i didnt have to transplant them. Been watering with rain water only at this point (which hopefully it rains soon cause i only got about 10 gallons) other than that thats about it. Sonce they are in early stages i usually run them between 85 and 90 degrees with an rh of around 75- 90% obviously i will tone this down after the first week or two. I have been running them on a 24/0 schedule for the time being but im going to cut them down to 20/4 in the next 3 days when i start my nuets. I may have gave you some un needed info but thats what ive got going. This is my first grow as well so any advice helps

Be sure to have your ventilation in order. Keep your tent intakes passive and have an extraction fan strong enough to pull the tent walls, in a little. On top of that, have another fan blowing the tops around. You just want your leaves swaying, not blowing directly on the little ones but definitely moving the leaves some - this will strengthen your stems. I've read autos like cool tops & warm roots - my Mazaar didn't perk up until she was below 80*, she had a stressful veg! I'm no expert but I haven't bought, in a while!

Yeah i got a small 8 inch fan in the upper corner blowing air and i have a 4" carbon filter with inline fan. I can feel it pulling air through the tent walls. I usually leave my lower vent a tid bit open so it can suck in fresh air easily.

Last plant under my hps, was under my veg light longer. Her two sisters were put under the 600 as soon as pistols showed - I see less stress on the longer vegged plant. First time I've tried but I'm willing to try it again.

I put some flowering nutes, on a Green Crack, early on. She's definitely a deeper green, though about trying it again myself.

Personally I have used Fox Farm nutrients for over a decade I have never experienced any type of burn or stress at full strength. I would follow the recommendations to the T below is a complete grow Journal exclusively with the fox farm at full strength plus and there's not a blemish all the way through Harvest

Can't believe that's a auto, at full strength. So, you read the label, applied as directed and blindly ended up with that! Man I'm over thinking this whole thing!
