Check it out.. Fox farm are awesome.. i was recently at a local grow shop and the owner told me stright up that foxfarm at the best nutes and they dont need any other additives.
He handed me a feeding schedule that can be found here... Depending on what type of grow your doing, hydro or soil, will determine which type of foxfarm nutes you want to get. This is what i use, and it works well when you follow the feeding schedule. As you become more accustomed to the nutes im sure you can tweak some things on your own to make them alittle bit more breed specific. The feeding charts can be found here

Lets say your doing a soil grow.. Here is what i reccommend
Foxfarm Ocean forest soil, mixed with some type of drainage additive at 25% (vermiculite?)
Fox farm 3 part liquid nutrients (Big grow soil, Big Bloom, and TigerBloom) or for hydro just switch BigGrow soil with BigGrow Hydro.
Also your gonna want the 3 part solids, These are soluable in water (just take the ammount needed and add it to a small portion of water, mix it into the water then add that water to your nutrient mix)
The names of the solids are ChaChing, Open Sesame, and Beastie blooms. The feeding schedule will tell you how much of these to add aswell.
Both of these 3 packs come together in packs. 3 liquids, and 3 solids. The Soil is purchased seperatly and is around 20 something a bag. You can also use other highgrade soil but make sure it has low, to no nutrients already in it.
(Fox farm ocean forest soil does have some nutrients in it but i had no problem following this feeding schedule and using their soil, Actually on the contrary my plants could have used more nutrients then the schedule allowed for!.
Good luck and yes i think foxfarm nutrients , when the liquids and solids are used correctly, are the best type of nutrients available
