Mix your nutes by gallons of water not by plant. I would start with 1/4 strength.

What is your growing medium?

Don't give any babies nutes though wait untill they are a bit established.

hmm im using fox farm organic soil if that what u mean by growing medium? im a newb ;( but my plants are just in the starter cubes then i was gunna plant em into the pots with soil once they grow a little bit more.

alright i have just been giving my babies water, but when i started i soaked the starter cubes in some water mixed with some nutes that can be used throught out the whole cycle, and they didnt seem to be effected.

Bigbloom and Growbig its hard to burn most strains its pretty gentle stuff, you dont need to be feeding babies under 20 days its just dangerous and pointless. We need to know what your final medium will be, if your transplanting them from that into fox farm soil then you wont need to feed them for another 20 to 40 days...The best thing is to try to stick with the schedule its a good schedule to be honest but you start light.

Nutrient Defeciency can be fixed easy but nutrient burn is permanent damage...wait till your plants show defecieny and then feed them, once the green becomes pale green then pack on that nitrogen - Give them about one capfull of the growbig and one capfull of bigbloom per galon of water...then next time they need water give them plain water.....the next time they need water I go up to 2 capfulls of each per galon....just stick with the 2 capfulls and watch how they respond, just keep rotating plain water and fertilized water every other time. TigerBLOOM be very gentle with that and feed them that only a few times while they are in flower.

It is not nessecary but ideally get the fox farm solubules also, Beastie Bloomz is fed twice during flower on their schedule, Open Seasime (helps them start to flower quick you use it twice during a plants life once 2 weeks before flowering and once when you start I believe), and then you have the Cha Ching which I believe is only used at the end of flowering on their schedule.

Keep an EYE on your PH - always check the PH after you mix up and adjust as nessecary.

I have a similar question. I came across this schedule from FoxFarms: http://www.nationalgardenwholesale.com/ngw/literature/Soil Systems Soluble feeding schedule.pdf

As you can see, they base it on a 12 week cycle. If anyone is familiar with their nutritional additives & fertilizers, are they of high quality and is the schedule they publish reasonable. My obvious fear as a novice is that the schedule is too aggressive because that I can't fix. Also, could someone offer feedback on the BushDoctor Sledge Hammer rinse additive. I've never heard of needing anything aside from filtered water. They make the argument of nutrients getting "locked" into the root system (I'm guessing as a salt) and this additive presumably unlocks them.

Is this analogous to undercoat for my car - something I don't understand and likely will never need?

thanks deprave for that usefull information!
i started my seedlings in an A-Ok starter cube, which is made with Grodan Stonewool, I was wondering when i transplate them into there 2 gallon pots i was gunna use the fox farm soil, then transplant them into a bigger pot once they start growing. Is that a bad idea? and another question is if i could just plant those starter cubes into the pots with the soil?

hey deprave, you say in your post above to use a "capfull" of each GB & TB. Ok now, no disrespct but thaats not accurate is it?? the caps the bottles come with are not messured caps, i'm not even sure what that would be, I'm thinking that would be way to much nutes. They say to use 2tsb's of GB and 2Tbl's. of TB. wouldnt it be better to get one of those 'shotglass' messuringcups instead?/ just my thoughts

that fox farm shedule is not ment for growing cannabis.. Especially if using one of their soils...wich is already rich in nitrogen

ammendments to the fox farm trio schedule .(strain dependent)
**** assuming bi-weekly feedings ****
week 1 (if you choose to feed this early) 1/8th mix
week 2-3 1/4th mix
week 4 1/2 mix
week 5 full strength if your plant has recieved the nutrients with no issues .
week 6 may or may not be flowerign by now ( strain and personal choice dependent) full strength. ** if any damage has shown in new growth revert , to the prior dosage with no problems. Personal journals are great to refer back to for thoose of us with bad memory .
week 7-10 If it aint broke dont fix it ..maintain current schedule feedings.
week 11-12 I start to wind down the nutrients 1/2 , 1/4 1/8 then strait water (distilled , PH balanced , or reverse osmosis ) as a flush I usually flower a bit longer then this with my strains but it is completely optional.
just a quick ammendment for ya if you need a more detailed explanation feel free to message me . Ive been growing completely organic for quite some time . ( Some peoples definition of organic may differ from mine , and have grown some of the best weed ive ever smoked , remember everything is just piss and vinegar literally ..)

A few things to remember :
1. The more you use , the faster you run out and need to re purchase .
2. Lighter feeds are better feeds . ( untill you know what your strain is capable of recieving w/o burn)
3. all brands are just a natural or synthetic mix of common elements easily obtained at any nursery.
4. be patient , up slowly , pay attention to new growth for signs of how your nutes are working
5. if it worked for you share it . spread the love with others ^^

i just got my foxfarm trio pack but my plants have been growing without getting any nutrients since the beginning of July. Should i start feeding them directly from 3rd week (fox farm feeding schedule) ?

what kind of soil ? if they've had no bytes at all but have a strong root system id still start at 50% or less. and step it up different strains handle any bytes different ex. my bigbud feed is tripple what my white widow get safely . slow n steady wins the race .

I am growing in happy frog soil from fox farm, would big bloom, and grow big be efficient enough for the whole grow. I am guessing grow big for veg and big bloom for flower.

its just a regular potting soil from grocery store. i fed them 1/3, used 1,5lt with 1tsp of grow big. let's see how they are going to respond. I also made a mistake while i was transplanting into a bigger pot. half of the roots gone but after a week it recovered by itself and they are growing like crazy so far.

Put the whole Grodan cube into the soil. Never ever remove roots directly from the block it will kill your plant the majority of the time. Also remember when you put the Grodan block into soil you want the block to dry out and the roots to stretch into the soil. To achieve this attempt to water only the soil and not the block. When I moved my blocks into 3gal FFOF pots I watered with ph 6.5 RO 1L every 3 days with success.
